Mold removal
Mold removal through our partners
We are a mold testing company. When a report calls for removal, we refer you to a remediation partner we work with closely and stand 100% behind, and we support you and them together through the entire process. Because we never bid on the cleanup, our report is never a sales pitch.
Why we do not remove mold ourselves
A company that both finds the mold and gets paid to remove it has a reason to find more of it. In Texas the law makes that separation mandatory: mold assessment and mold remediation are separate licenses and the same company cannot do both on one job. In Pennsylvania there is no such law, so we hold ourselves to the Texas rule everywhere. Our report is the only thing we sell.
How a removal job runs
- We test and report. Lab results and a written scope of what needs removing.
- A vetted partner removes it. Licensed and insured. We introduce you, share the report, and stay on the job.
- We clearance test. We come back and prove the air is clean before anyone signs off.
You are never handed off. We introduce you to the partner, share the report and the scope, answer questions while the work happens, and come back for the clearance test. If something is not right, you call us, and we deal with it.
Who the partners are
Licensed and insured remediation companies we have worked with for years in each city, chosen because they follow the scope, contain the work area properly, and pass our clearance tests. We do not take a referral fee, so the recommendation is only ever about the work.
What it costs
A written removal estimate from a partner, based on our report, is $150 and is credited against the job. The clearance test afterward is priced as a standard test. The removal itself is quoted by the partner from the scope in the report, so you are never quoted for more than the report found.
